Collaboration with Lawyers for Lawyers 

Delissen Martens has partnered with Lawyers for Lawyers, a foundation committed to protecting lawyers and the independence of the legal profession worldwide.

The rule of law is the foundation of a free and just society. However, the rule of law is not guaranteed everywhere, not even for lawyers. In various countries, lawyers face threats, persecution, and obstruction in the exercise of their profession.

Lawyers for Lawyers supports these lawyers through international solidarity, knowledge sharing, and practical assistance. Through this partnership, DM emphasizes the importance of an independent legal profession worldwide and affirms our belief that legal expertise and social responsibility go hand in hand.

The DM Forest

On the occasion of our 15th anniversary, we wanted to contribute to the best gift for everyone: a healthy planet. How? By planting trees in Africa, the continent with the greatest potential for recovery, and creating a 100% sustainable Delissen Martens forest. We did this together with Treebytree in the following way: For every invoice that went out in July 2024, we donated one tree to the DM Forest. In addition, we donated three trees per Delissen Martens employee. Our forest now consists of 696 trees. This corresponds to a CO2 absorption of 18,878 kg. Take a look at our DM- forest here.

SustainableWorking@DM (DW@DM)

Since 2013, Delissen Martens has been working according to the principles of Sustainable Working. In short, this means that DelissenMartens employees can choose a place and time that best suits the work to be done at that moment. This can be in a flex space, a quiet room, a separate workspace (cockpit) or in a consultation room. In addition, we work in an almost entirely digital way. This way of working not only saves on empty (permanent) workstations, (a lot of) stationery and storage space, but also has the advantage for the client that they can also talk to their counselor outside of office hours and at other locations, because we work digitally and are therefore not tied to a workplace. Clients always have (digital) access to and insight into their personal files.

  • Stichting Lotje supports small initiatives and projects to help children in need in the Netherlands..

  • Stichting Vaarwens organizes free sailing days for people with no hope of recovery, together with their families.

  •  The Hague field hockey club Klein Zwitserland with years of tradition; a household name in field hockey in the Netherlands.

  • Lawn Tennis Club Oud Wassenaar (LTCOW) like the HGC, plays an important social and active role in the immediate area.
