Liability law

Liability law  in this day and age.

Have you suffered damages? Has your contract partner failed to honour their agreements? Have you yourself been held liable, for example, for a mistake made, for a child, or for a service or product? Do you believe that the State has breached its duty of care towards you?

When a Liability Law lawyer is relevant to you

Every person and every business owner is at risk and can be held liable for certain damages or mistakes made. We can help you mitigate risks by advising you on the choice of a particular legal form, your general terms and conditions, contracts to be drafted or insurance against certain risks.

Your concern as an entrepreneur is that your rights are clearly formulated and that you are aware of your obligations. A contract is often the only handhold at the time when disputes arise with your contract partner. We provide that strong handhold so that doing business cannot result in unwanted liabilities.

We are also happy to assist you if you have suffered damage. The main rule is that damages stay where they fall, but in practice, damages are often recoverable. Our liability lawyers can advise you on this. If you have suffered damage as a private individual, we are also happy to assist you. We can advise you on the feasibility of a claim and, if necessary, litigate on your behalf.

Checklist for filing financial statements: who? what? how? when?

Checklist for filing financial statements: who? what? how? when?

Much has been written and said about the filing privilege. The Chamber of Commerce, for example, provides information about it through its website. It is not really possible to report anything new about it. However, we thought it would be useful, especially now that we are approaching the end of the year, to once again put things in compact order: who has an obligation to file, what exactly is it and what does it entail, and when must it be fulfilled. Turbo liquidation and liability director

Turbo liquidation and liability director

Turbo liquidation: how does it work again? What about the creditors? Do they really have nothing to say against it and are thus powerless? Not quite, according to a recent ruling by the North Holland District Court. Under circumstances, a director is personally liable after a turbo liquidation.
