EU Q&A's about Brexit

The European Commission has published Q&A’s about Brexit. These Q&A’s are based on the joint report of the EU and UK on the progress of the first round of negotiations on Brexit. The information concerns the consequences of the agreements in the report on the rights of EU citizens in the UK and of British citizens in the EU. These Q&A’s serve only to provide information. No rights can be derived from the joint report on which the Q&A’s are based. The report contains only a political commitment to the agreements made therein. The EU will ensure these commitments are fulfilled in their entirety. To that end, they will be recorded in legal terms in the withdrawal agreement that the EU and the UK will sign.
