Olivia Balak
Olivia has worked in the Employment Law department at Delissen Martens since 2025. Prior to that, she gained work experience in various roles, including as a law lecturer, a lawyer at the Council of State and a freelancer, from 2002 onwards. This has given her knowledge of multiple areas of law. She has completed three Master's degrees in Law with honours, the last of which was in Employment Law. Her passion lies undoubtedly in employment law. She enjoys assisting companies and individuals both nationally and internationally.
Expertise
Olivia works in various areas of employment law. She has a keen sense of what her clients need and translates that into results. Consequently, she establishes long-term relationships with her clients. Clients appreciate her thoroughness and commitment.
She is also known for her precise, detail-oriented approach. This can make all the difference in legal matters.
Additional activities
Olivia's passion for employment law extends beyond her working hours. She founded the VVA Jong (VVA Young) department for the Dutch Employment Law Association (VvA), which she currently chairs. She organises knowledge-sharing meetings with a networking element for employment lawyers and attorneys.
Since 2025, she has also focused on publishing articles on employment law in legal journals. Since 2008, she has also worked as a guest lecturer in law at various Indian universities, including ILS Law College and Amity University in Pune, alongside her regular legal work in the Netherlands.
