Marina (M.) Verberkmoes-Cota
Attorney at law/partner
Marina has been a lawyer since 2009. She has been a partner in Corporate Law at Delissen Martens since 2017.
Within Corporate Law, Marina advises clients on mergers and acquisitions and assists them throughout the acquisition/merger process. This includes negotiating the terms of the transaction and taking care of the necessary transaction documentation. In doing so, Marina also takes into account the emotions that a transaction can bring about, for example for a seller of a family business.
In addition, Marina advises medium-sized and large companies, start-ups, shareholders and directors on incorporation, articles of association, restructuring, corporate governance issues, shareholder agreements, joint ventures and other forms of cooperation.
Marina also focuses on Corporate Litigation. In this context, she advises and litigates in the field of acquisition disputes, shareholder disputes and director and supervisor liability.
Committed, solution-oriented and reliable are the qualities that shape Marina as a lawyer. "I find it important to unburden my clients. Entrepreneurs are busy enough with the operational matters of their business and ideally you want to bother them as little as possible with legal matters."
