Milan (M.) Karel
Since 2018 Milan is employed at the Business and Corporate Law practice group of Delissen Martens. Business clients can consult him on legal issues pertaining to Business and Corporate Law and to Civil Law.
Milan is a passionate lawyer and he has a commercial attitude, qualities enabling him to switch quickly with entrepreneurs, to place himself in the client’s business and to quickly understand the case.
Through his legal and business-like insight he has a broad approach. “I consider not only the legal side of the issue, but prefer to work together with the parties involved towards a solution which is long-lasting also from a social and a business point of view.”
Milan provides advice mainly to companies and institutions, including multinational companies, about mergers & acquisitions, shareholder disputes, (directors’ and officers’) liability matters and (in drawing up, concluding and conducting legal proceedings regarding) commercial contracts.
What is the motivation that drives him as a lawyer?
“To assist and to provide a full-service solution to my clients in the best possible way. So that the client can focus on matters he or she does best: running a business.”
After completing the bachelor’s degree programme in Law and Business Studies, Milan completed the master’s degree porogramme in Civil Law and Business Law at Leiden University. During his studies, he has worked in the Moot Court department of Leiden University, first as a student assistant and after graduation as a Research and Teaching Assistant.
