The British citizens will have the possibility to travel without a visa for a short stay (90 days within a period of 180 days) within the EU. This will also be possible for the citizens of the EU member states who are travelling to the United Kingdom for a short stay. It remains possible to travel with an identity card until the 31st of December 2020. From that date a passport is required when travelling between the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
