Travelling with pets

Prior to your journey it is advisable to check the conditions that are applicable to travelling with pets from the EU to the United Kingdom. Stricter rules will be in force.

In the converse situation, when you are travelling from the United Kingdom to the EU with a pet, the EU rules to the non-commercial movement of pet animals pets will be applicable. This entails that pets must wear an identification chip and have to be vaccinated.
